Hand made, engraved, resin inlayed, festive holiday trivet

This is a solid wood festive trivet made from a solid piece of Ambrosia Maple. The leaves and berries in the holly at the top have been filled with urethane resin mixed with mica for color. Glitter shimmers inside the black letters subtly making you look for the sparkle out of the corner of your eyes.
Measuring Just under 8" square at the base and a hair over 7 1.4" on the engraved surface. This trivet will make a fun and unique gift for the baker in your life and brings beauty and warmth to your kitchen decor.
Not for use under extremely hot materials. You can still absolutely scorch this wood if you use something that can burn wood on top of it. Please be careful.
Care for the trivet the same as any wooden bowl following the below instructions.
CLEANSING
Hand washing is the best way to care for your woodenware. Never soak them in water for too long to prevent splitting or cracking. Use warm water and mild soap to wash the surface. This will cleanse the exterior without subjecting the wood to elements that will destroy the material. Never put wood items in the dishwasher or in the microwave oven.
SANITIZING
Sanitizing wooden bowls and wood utensils helps to control bacteria growth. White vinegar works wonders. Mix 1 part white vinegar with 5 parts water, wet the bowl thoroughly and allow the solution to do its job for several minutes. Rinse the bowl with warm water and let it air dry. Or fill a spray bottle with a 50-50 mix of white vinegar and water, and spritz as needed, wiping off the excess with a clean towel.
